One week left in Calor competition
Hospitality operators have just one week left to enter Calor’s national prize draw to win expert advice from a world renowned chef and food development expert.
With challenges such as the smoking ban and rising food and beer prices, hospitality operators are having to find new ways to attract customers to their outlets.
However one size does not fit all. Where one outlet may find the best way to build business and profitability is to consider food offerings such alfresco dining, themed menus or revamping existing menus, another may find catering for local area and possible new trade may be an opportunity, such as introducing a breakfast menu, lunchtime snacks or speciality coffees.
One hospitality operator can take advantage of individual advice for their outlet provided by world renowned chef and food development expert Colin Capon by entering Calor's prize draw.
The closing date is Friday 29th February.
One lucky winner will receive one-to-one advice from Colin where he will visit the winning outlet, discuss the business's challenges and current menu provision.
Recommendations will be made based on the outlets individual business development needs and a comprehensive report provided for the winner to refer back to.
Laura Luty, Calor bulk marketing manager, has devised the competition which offers outlets a unique bespoke prize. She says: "Getting individual expert advice can really help to build a business and set outlets apart from their competitors as one size does not fit all.
"In delivering the winner's prize, we will take into consideration the outlet's location, size of kitchen, number of employees, current menu, its competition and other facilities available such as outdoor space and then provide tailored recommendations."
As a cleaner burning fuel than oil, LPG produces less carbon emissions and less smoke and can be used to power entire businesses in rural areas, including catering, heating and water heating as well as alfresco appliances.
