London’s bottled water goes green

Kingsdown Water has increased its green credentials with a new ‘carbon neutral’ logo which has been added to the bottle label, urging restaurants and bar-goers to consider their product when it comes to ordering bottled water.

William Bomer, founder of Kingsdown, commented: "Our customers are responding, as we are, to the growing desire to be environmentally responsible in all business decisions. In the past, the diner and bar-goer has chosen bottled water because of the taste, health and style factors. This is still true but today's consumer, quite rightly, needs to be satisfied with the environmental impact their buying decisions have."

He added: "Our carbon neutral status and our proximity to London, combined with the fact that it is pure, 100% natural, local product, means that customers can choose Kingsdown Water with a clear conscience."
