HA’S FOAMY FUN IN LIVERPOOL

The hospitality industry’s competitive spirits commenced battle on Thursday 11th September at Hospitality Action’s 9th “It’s a Knockout” competition, raising a fantastic £14,000 for the industry charity.

Following weeks of grey skies and drizzle, the sun came out to play at the fundraising and team-building day held at the stunning Knowsley Hall in Liverpool.

This was the first time Liverpool had played host to the event, but the winning combination of good weather, a great venue and a host of high-spirited teams ensured that the event will most certainly return.

The winning team was an amalgamation of the fittest of the fit from Woodford Reserve and Dewberry Redpoint.

Overcoming an inflatable obstacle course dressed as a chicken, flinging themselves into the Human Washing Machine, knocking other teams for six on Human Demolition and successfully controlling the Giant Hamster Wheelay meant they fully deserved the coveted Northern It's a Knockout trophy and champagne!

Hospitality Action couldn't have done it without the support from everyone who took part, the spectators for their moral support, Premier Inn Liverpool Albert Dock, InterContinental Hotel Group and Northcote/Ribble Valley Inns for their sponsorship and Living Ventures for providing the delicious barbeque.
