Exclusive special deal for Taste Festivals

Workers from the hospitality industry can today take advantage of a special deal for tickets to the various Taste Festivals planned across the country this summer.

You can buy four tickets for the price of three to attend on either the Thursday or Friday and the offer is only available until the 21st May.

To take advantage call the reservation hotline 0871 2305581, quoting 'trade'.

Taste Festivals showcase the very best of the country's top restaurants, each serving three signature dishes, as well as fine food and drink companies.

This makes it the ideal location for the hospitality professional to pick up new and exciting ideas or to source niche and unusual products to take back to their kitchen.

The Taste Festivals kick off at the end of May in Edinburgh (29th May–1st June) before moving onto Leeds (5th–8th June), London (19th–22nd June), Bath (3rd–6th July) and finally Birmingham (10th–13th July).

Taste of London, with British Airways, Regent's Park, 19 – 22 June

Taste of London marks the start of the 'season'. It features 40 of the capital's top restaurants, including Tom's Place, Le Gavroche, L'Atelier du Joel Robuchon, Arbutus, Aiden Byrne at the Dorchester, Le Café Anglais and Angela Hartnett's forthcoming opening, The York & Albany.

Caterers will also be able to lose themselves among the 100 food and drink stalls, including the 'delicious. Magazine Producers' Market' and enjoy demonstrations at the Sainsbury's Taste Kitchen.

For the first time in its history, Taste of London, as part of the CHINA NOW festival, will be celebrating international cuisine as Taste of China comes to the capital's food festival.

Fans of Chinese cuisine will be able to indulge in a culinary journey through the different regions and culinary delights of China. From the fiery heat of chillies in Sichuanese food to the subtlety and delicacy of Cantonese food, you'll be able to sample it all.

Taste of China will feature cooking presentations from chefs at Beijing's Lan restaurant, and London's Kai, Snazz Sichuan and China Tang restaurants. Amoy is the title sponsor of Taste of China and The Amoy theatre will feature a programme of demonstrations by restaurant chefs and cultural demonstrations. Harbin will provide authentic Chinese beer to wash it all down with, whilst Chinese dragon dances, live ice-carving, acrobatic Shaolin monks and Tai Chi demonstrations will provide entertainment.

Taste of Edinburgh, The Meadows, 29 May-1 June
Taste of Edinburgh will feature some of Scotland's best restaurants, food, and drink producers. Meet celebrated chefs Martin Wishart from Restaurant Martin Wishart, Stuart Muir from Forth Floor at Harvey Nichols and watch Andrew Fairlie from Gleneagles, demonstrating his recipes. Plus, enjoy signature dishes from David Bann, The Tower and Ducks at Le Marche Noir. Then shop for produce from the likes of Ashers Bakery and Berry Scrumptious.

Taste of Leeds, Millennium Square, 5-8 June
New for 2008, Taste of Leeds is a four-day celebration bringing together leading restaurants and bars and the best food and drink in the North. Restaurants already signed up include Harvey Nichols, The Star Inn at Harome and Anthony's Restaurant, where chef Anthony Flinn learned his craft from Ferran Adrià of famed restaurant El Bulli.

Taste of Bath, Royal Victoria Park, 3–6 July
The beautiful surroundings of Royal Victoria Park will host Taste of Bath for the second year. Fifteen of the region's best restaurants will top the bill, including favourites such as The Bath Priory Hotel, The Hole in the Wall, the Dower House at the Royal Crescent and The Olive Tree. New for 2008, The Wheatsheaf at Combe Hay, listed as one of only five 'rising stars' in the country in this year's Michelin Guide will be participating. There will also be more than 100 stalls featuring the South West's best produce including Great Western Wine, The Crackling Pig and Cotleigh Brewery.

Taste of Birmingham, Cannon Hill Park, 10-13 July
Taste of Birmingham continues to grow with restaurants such as Michelin-starred Simpsons and neighbouring venues from the Midlands. Quality food and drink from producers such as Gaymer Cider and Flights Orchard Organics will ensure that Taste of Birmingham is a fabulous day out for all.
