Egypt’s leading coffee chain enters the UK

Cilantro, Egypt’s leading coffee chain, has entered the UK market.

The 1,600 sq ft unit at 193 Piccadilly, situated next to the BAFTA building, was formerly occupied by independent café Cinq.

Property agent Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL), who was in charge of the venue, disposed of the 15 year lease for an undisclosed sum.

The Cilantro stable serves a selection of sandwiches, pasta, desserts and creative coffee concoctions.

Josh Leon, of DCL, commented: "This is a prime spot from which cilantro can launch its UK presence. Our client was delighted with the result and Cilantro performed smoothly."
