Edinburgh first stop for Beefeater roadshow

Edinburgh has been picked as the launch location for Beefeater’s live summer chargrilling roadshow – Festival of Fire.

Designed to take the Beefeater experience to the streets, the Festival of Fire will travel around the UK for the next three weeks inviting the public to try dishes from the menu including chargrilled steak, chicken and chorizo skewers, minted lamb koftas and falafels.

Locally employed Beefeater Chefs and restaurant staff are taking part in each event to bring the Beefeater message to life and connect with passers by on a local level.

Chef Ademir Da Silva from the Lady Nairne Beefeater in Edinburgh took to the busy streets on the 14th August with general manager Carl Barbosa and team members to treat locals and festival goers on Princes Street to a range of Beefeater favourites.

"It is great to get out and about on the streets to spread the word about Beefeater," said Suzanne Curry, Head of Marketing, Beefeater. "We want to show people the wide variety available on our menus and our roadshow provides the perfect sampling opportunity.

"Edinburgh was a highly successful inaugural event and we are looking forward to the remaining four roadshows in our chosen tourist hotspots."
