Alliance relocates

Alliance, the non-food wholesaler to the catering, hotel and leisure industry, has relocated its Alliance North West arm to a new warehouse development on the Lostock Industrial Estate in Manchester.

The new site will complement the existing depots within Alliance's national network in providing a range of products including tableware, packaging disposables, kitchen equipment and cleaning and hygiene products.

The group has over 20,000 non-food product lines available to the hospitality industry.

David Elder, chief executive officer, explained why it is important to grow the company's presence in Manchester: "Our regional depots are very important in giving us a bespoke 'on the ground' presence to deliver choice, value and opportunity direct to local, independent customers.

"Customers, who want and need that localised knowledge and a personalised service to support their individual establishment – one size does not fit all!"
